Which cookies and local storage Seait uses, and why.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in the user's browser. We also use browser local storage to remember certain settings. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (in Norway, section 3-15 of the Electronic Communications Act), strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent, while all others require consent to the GDPR standard: freely given, informed, unambiguous and as easy to withdraw as to give.
2. How we use them
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for the service to work. We also use cookies for product analytics, but only if you consent. We use no cookies for marketing, advertising or cross-site tracking.

3. Consent to product analytics
The first time you visit the website or the service, you are asked whether you accept product analytics. Declining is as easy as accepting, and no analytics cookies are set until you have said yes.
If you decline, we still count page views and feature use anonymously and in aggregate, without storing anything on your device, without recordings and without linking it to your account. That tells us how much the service is used, but not who uses it.
You can change your choice at any time here on this page, under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the website, or under "Product analytics" in your account settings. The choice applies to the browser you are using. If you withdraw consent, the analytics cookies are removed from your browser.
Product analytics is not in use here.
4. Third parties
Some features are provided by sub-processors (for example payment and video) that may set their own strictly necessary cookies when the feature is used. See the privacy policy for the list of sub-processors.
5. Managing cookies
Cookies can be deleted and blocked in the browser settings. If strictly necessary cookies are blocked, login and parts of the service may stop working.
