Let the system react to events: send an email or SMS, or create an order, automatically.
Email and SMS templates
Templates hold reusable messages with variables (member name, boat, berth, dates). Mass email supports rich formatting; SMS goes through the configured provider.
Event triggers
Automation triggers connect an event to actions. Events include berth assignments (summer, winter storage, dry stack, bubble harbor), berth rentals and more. Actions: send a templated email, send an SMS, and/or create an order for a chosen product.
Set-out and lift-up reminders
Two triggers fire from the calendar rather than from an action: a week before, and the day before, a boat is scheduled to go in the water or be lifted onto land. The owners get an SMS naming the boat and the time.
These are on unless you turn them off. With no SMS template we send a built-in reminder in the harbor's communication language; choosing a template replaces that text. Rescheduling the operation sends a fresh reminder for the new date.
